【時報-台北電】復興航空轉投資成立的廉價航空-威航（V Air）本月初找來出身澳洲航空，曾經在香港快運與菲律賓虎航工作，有低成本航空豐富經驗的史提夫．艾倫（Steve

Allen）擔任商務長，以輔佐專長網路行銷的總經理隆章琪，形成互補作用。

據了解，澳洲籍的史提夫，最早在澳洲航空工作，之後曾在多家低成本航空工作，進入威航之前是香港快運的商務總裁，威航母公司復興航空透過獵人頭公司找到他，他的專長包括營收管理、定價策略、航網規劃與服務營生拓展等，因為經驗豐富，讓威航籌設工作得以加快腳步，實現9月開航目標。

目前所知威航首航點鎖定日本的大阪與東京，以及韓國的釜山等，東京傳出可能選用東京近郊的茨城，大陸春秋航空就是選用該機場，將團客以遊覽車載往東京各地旅遊。

不過威航內部透露，公司不光是要招攬團客，自由行旅客也是主要客源，尤其是年輕的背包客，因此選擇航點必須考慮交通的便利性，如果不能直接轉高鐵或地鐵，必須有接駁車能夠轉搭這些高便利性的交通工具，目前航點的選擇都還在做最後研究。(新聞來源：工商時報─記者張佩芬／台北報導)
