5連敗的義大犀牛今天在台中洲際球場出戰統一獅，犀牛由左投賴鴻誠先發，獅隊則是派上洋投費古洛。第1局兩隊都無功而返，2局上，犀牛陽冠威、張建銘安打攻佔一、二壘，新人林威廷在2出局後擊出右外野安打，為犀牛取得1比0領先。這是林威廷本季第9分打點，在犀牛陣中僅次於10分打點的林益全。

犀牛3局上1出局後攻勢再起，胡金龍、林益全、陽冠威連續3安打，攻下第2分，不過林宗男、張建銘未能延續火力，犀牛打完3局上以2比0領先。

賴鴻誠在2局下三振陳鏞基與黃恩賜，前2局未被敲出安打，3次三振，1次四壞。費古洛前3局已被敲出7安打，3次三振，失2分都是自責分。(王覺一／綜合報導)
