葉倫：低通膨對經濟造成更大威脅

美國聯準會（Fed）主席葉倫表示，通膨持續徘徊低檔比物價上揚對經濟造成更直接的威脅，強調Fed未來可能採取刺激措施。

葉倫16日在紐約發表演說時，避談Fed可能升息的時間點，她強調Fed的決策將取決於勞動市場復甦狀況，以及通膨率和央行2%目標值的差距。

葉倫說：「目前通膨率大約在1%，我認為這個階段更大的風險是通膨低於央行目標值，我們的任務是把通膨推回到2%的水準。」

她並表示，Fed「最終勢必得緊縮貨幣政策，以免通膨竄升…一旦超過目標值，必須付出極大代價才能扭轉情勢。」

葉倫預期，2016年底前經濟將實現充分就業，通膨也將回到更健全的水平。
