【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】由《聖荷西信使報》（San Jose Mercury News）引用彭博數據所編製的「矽谷150」報告中指出，蘋果2013年營收為1740億美元，不只在矽谷所有頂尖企業中排名第一，甚至還超出排名第二的惠普（1120億美元）與排名第三的谷歌（598億美元）的營收總和。此外，蘋果2013年獲利為370億美元，超越排行第二至第五名（谷歌、甲骨文、英特爾、思科）的企業獲利總和。

儘管蘋果在營收與獲利方面取得壓倒性的領先，其市值卻只有惠普、谷歌、英特爾與思科市場總和的7成左右。營收在矽谷排名第11強的臉書，其市值接近蘋果的三分之一，儘管其營收只達蘋果的4%，而獲利不及蘋果的4%。
