《國際產業》穿戴設備晶片新秀，Ineda獲高通、三星投資

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】穿戴式設備晶片新興公司Ineda Systems周二宣布獲得1700萬美元資金，投資人包括全球行動晶片龍頭高通與三星電子。

Ineda為智慧手錶與其他穿戴式電腦裝置設計低功耗晶片，在去年12月與高通、三星等投資人敲定B系列募資計畫。

該公司表示，將運用這筆資金為穿戴式設備開發超低功耗晶片，目標是在不需重新充電的情況下，該裝置可以連續使用長達一個月。

Ineda董事長Sanjay Jha表示，在現今的市場上，人們使用智慧手機技術來打造手錶，雖然推出不錯的產品，但尚未出現突破性的商品。

Jha之前曾擔任摩托羅拉移動的執行長與高通的營運長，並於今年1月被指派接手格羅方德半導體公司的執行長一職，在晶片產業備受尊崇。
