車速過快煞不住　撞斷消防栓成噴泉

今天凌晨1時許，1台雙載的機車疑車速過快，經過新北市板橋中山路跟民權路口時，撞斷路旁的消防栓，當時噴出的水柱達3層樓高，流出的水淹至腳踝，趕抵現場救援的消防隊員急中生智，以車上的大錘及開關撬開柏油封死處，順利關閉消防栓制水閥。而27歲的林姓機車駕駛及後座的24歲劉姓女子皆輕傷送醫，而詳細車禍原因警方還在調查中。

而遭撞斷的消防栓為地上式消防栓，造價約8千元左右，但撞斷消防栓除了毀損的設備外，還要依據自來水口徑大小，外流時間的長短，來計算出水量的多寡，肇事者恐將面臨3萬元索賠。（莊淇鈞／新北報導）
