黃姓男子在新竹市科學園區，從事作業員的工作，與另位同事分別輪流值日、夜班。黃姓嫌犯趁被害人上班之際，以卡片撬開宿舍的喇叭鎖，在被害人的房間抽屜取走被害人的提款卡，並在筆記本裡找到提款卡密碼，接連5個月的時間，黃嫌「無限暢領」被害人的信用卡高達20次共87萬。

被害人直到上周要領錢時才發現遭盜領，立刻報案。警方循線將黃嫌逮捕，黃嫌供稱，因積欠賭債才出此下策。
