【時報-台北電】服貿議題未見退燒，向來關心年輕學子的和碩董事長童子賢認為，學生走上街頭，其實是對於未來擔憂的投射，像是對於台灣處境的探討、國會機制失靈、甚至還有資源配置不公、房價過高等問題，這是世代落差的焦慮。

童子賢自己也多次到靜坐現場，與學子交流，他說，今天我們的孩子願意展現自主思考，他不但贊成，也很支持，長輩不妨聆聽，不要太多擔心，並將此學運當作是一場民主的洗禮。

不過他也強調，站在電腦公會的角色，開放對產業才有競爭力，IT產業早開放多年，但若是瞬間開放，可能會將業者殺個措手不及。(新聞來源：工商即時 詹子嫻)
